The property is unique, highly individual and stylish - the owners interior designer touches are very elegant and make the stay feel like a luxurious haven. Everything is of the highest standard, the bed is so comfortable, the linen and towels are top quality and so well equipped with thoughtful touches such as the breakfast hamper. A warm welcome personally by the owner was very much appreciated and it's central, yet quiet location in this beautiful, historic village cannot be beaten!

Great choice for Minehead. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and full of light from the windows. The staff were helpful and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was incredibly generous with lots of choices to select from. Strong wifi connection.

Dunster lovely people good service and the food in the Luttrell arms was good although it took quite a time and service average. We had breakfast in the hotel over the road from the apartment and it had good service with a very well cooked breakfast. First class quality and we were met in reception with a very good receptive person whom sorted us with in minutes and showed us to a lovely table looking over the Yarn Market. We can recommend the food & service at this hotel. The apartment was perfect, clean, tidy, modern with great facilities carpets immaculate and very good quality bed linen. The Host met us for the keys and was very kind. A perfect send off for my dad and we all Thank you 😊

Great small village with a number of cafes and a couple of bars. The castle looks impressive although we didn't have time to visit. Parking is a bit of a pain so plan ahead. Definitely worth 2-3 days visit, short drive to the coast line, quiet beaches and coves, probably avoid Minehead if you don't like busy places, we preferred quieter spots with a nice cafe or bar.

A stunning village which has bags of character and places to explore. There is a pay & display car park on the left as you approach the village from the A39 and also free parking in the main street (if you're lucky to find a space). Dunster Castle & Water Mill are well worth a visit (National Trust). Don't overlook finding the Church and Tithe Barn. If you're feeling energetic, you can climb up to the Conygar Tower.

We loved the town and tearooms and the castle was a great day out. The playpark near the river was a brilliant find. The kids loved visiting Minehead beach and had we been there longer would have got a day pass for Butlins. There was lots to do for children nearby. The supermarkets and food shops were all a drive away, that is my only down point.

One of the most picturesque medieval villages in England.

One of the most picturesque medieval villages in England. But retains the feel of a real lived in place with lovely, friendly locals. Superb local produce and three perfect, traditional British pubs. A base for the beautiful and relatively quiet Exmoor National Park.

Spent 2 nights here.

Spent 2 nights here. Visited the National Trust Dunster Castle with its lovely Christmas lights. The village is exceptionally pretty and charming. The whole area is atmospheric. Would advise sturdy footwear as some pavements are cobbled. Some very nice high class shops and several places to eat. The gorgeous church bells play tunes. The seaside town of Minehead is about 3 miles away.

What a stunning place in the heart of Dunster, beautifully decorated and full of so much character and charm. Lovely friendly hosts, spotlessly clean, a private parking space at the rear (drive to the top, turn around then come back down to make parking a lot easier), with high quality toiletries and facilities throughout.

The Hotel is located on the high street in the centre of Dunster , offering easy access by foot to the village and castle . We opted for an evening meal which along with the breakfast were very well presented and great food . The Yarn hotel offered good value for money compared with local hotels .

Fantastic location overlooking Dunster High Street but still very quiet. Just down the road from the castle and with lots of gorgeous gift shops nearby.
