If you are looking for a place to relax and get close to nature, look no further! The cabin is a cosy glamping retreat, offering direct access to hiking and mountain biking routes; and centrally located for sight seeing. Nestled in the heart of Snowdonia (Eryri) Hiraeth y Bryn is a haven from the bustle of life so that you can relax and enjoy the National Park at its best. Magnificent mountain views and easy access to public transport, the major Snowdonia mountain ranges, major footpaths, and cycle trails (including direct access to the Marin Trail). In this wildlife haven, snooze in a bean bag, sit around your private firepit or enjoy spectacular star-gazing in this Dark Skies Reserve. The cabin comes equipped with a double ring gas camping stove and grill (gas provided), cooking pans, crockery and cutlery for making simple meals. There is a cafe and a pub within walking distance serving great food, hot drinks and snacks. Plas y Brenin (National Outdoor Centre), again within walking distance, also serves bar meals. The cabin comes with a gas heater. Hot water bottles and slippers are also provided for your additional comfort and relaxing luxury! There is a USB charging point and bright (and atmospheric) lighting - both run on a 12v battery solar system. It is a small walk to the toilets. There is no running hot water, so no showers on site. Many guests choose to go for a local cold water dip (swimming lake within approx 20 mins walking distance) - they are braver than me! We can arrange on-site Sports Massages after a hard day out or introductory Yoga Sessions (pre-bookable at an additional charge). We operate a no loud noise policy. The cabin is all yours to relax in and enjoy. You can park locally and arrive on foot (making the whole experience more tranquil and magical). Otherwise access is allowed for one car up a single-lane gravel track (not for nervous drivers or low-suspension cars). Parking is approx 300 metres from the cabin.
