I live and work in Watchet, having moved down from London two years ago.

Lighthouse cottage is in a convenient, central Watchet location boasting stunning sea views. This three storey old harbour master's house oozes charm with thick lime walls, wooden panelling and a quaint seaside feel. You enter the property from a small lane into a characterful hallway, off which you find the main, generous double bedroom. This features a kitchenette, dressing table, underbed storage and a digital tv. This leads on to a newly installed, large luxury showeroom and wc. On the first floor we have a bedroom with a double bed, single bed and wardrobe area. Their is another toilet/shower room on this level. The sitting room/kitchen is to be found on the top floor where you can enjoy sweeping double aspect views over the harbour, town and hills. The intergrated kitchen has all modern appliances, a dining area and coffee machine. The lounge has plently of comfortable seating for all and a freeview tv. Please note that as the property is on three floors with a winding staircase, it may not be suitable for people with limited mobility(although handrails are provided on all stairs to assist).

We are conveniently located minutes from the local supermarket(open daily 8am - 10pm), deli and shops but within a quant and caracterful cul-de-sac. The harbour is right on your doorstep for leisurely strolls, as is the East Quay gallery. All the pubs and restaurants in Watchet are an easy level stroll away. From watchet you can enjoy a delightful off road walk to minehead to join the south west coastal path. The Quantocks, Exmoor and glorious Dunster are a short drive or bus ride away.
