Lizzies Cottage is a recently renovated traditional stone cottage, set in a row of cottages on the outskirts of the village of Scremerston. Decorated in off white throughout to give a light airy feel, with high quality furnishings, linen and towels, to give a lovely feel of luxury and comfort. We have retained many of the original features where possible to keep the traditional cottage ambience. The Lounge leads out onto the patio with views of the lengthy garden, which is quite a suntrap and sheltered. The family Bathroom is downstairs but there is a toilet with basin upstairs. Not far the main A1 it is an ideal location for exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland.

We always try to be at Lizzies to welcome guests, give them all the information about the cottage, answer any questions and then we leave guests to enjoy their stay. There is also an Information File and Fact Sheet for guests, plus they always have my contact details. I have always lived in Northumberland and have a wealth of knowledge about good places to visit and places to eat.

Set in a row of stone cottages, Lizzies is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by fields and woodland, but still close to the road into Scremerston. Just 2 miles from the historic border town of Berwick upon Tweed, with it's many places to visit, shops and restaurants/coffee shops and 1/2 mile from the main A1, exploring the area is simple, Bamburgh and Lindisfarne are 15 minutes down the road. Berwick upon tweed is also on the East Coast Mainline for trains to Edinburgh and London.
