Oxbow Cottage is the perfect bolthole for two people looking for a countryside getaway with beautiful walks through the rolling hills on your doorstep. Complete with log burning stove, beautiful views from the patio and Stow-on-the-Wold less than one mile on foot, this cottage has it all and is the ideal retreat after a day of exploring. One dog is also welcome.

Oxbow Cottage is located in the picturesque village of Maugersbury, less than a mile from the more famous Stow-on-the-Wold. Surrounded by glorious countryside, there are many walks and cycle routes on its doorstep including those over to the neighbouring villages of Broadwell and The Oddingtons, all home to popular country pubs. Head into Stow for a look around the independent shops whilst enjoying a coffee from Stow Town Coffee or enjoy dinner at one of our favourite restaurants The Old Butchers or Old Stocks Inn. For your shopping essentials, there is a mini Co-op in The Square, or a Tesco Superstore located on the Fosse Way, approximately two miles away. Maugersbury is ideally situated in the North Cotswolds, perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside and nearby towns and villages such as Burford, Moreton-in-Marsh, Bourton-on-the-Water and Broadway.
