Llanwrst is a short walk just down the road for shops and pubs and the famous 17th century Pont Fawr Bridge, skirting across Afon Conwy river. Llanwrst has Blas ar Fwyd to buy arguably the finest wines ever. Tir a Mor is a super fish and chip shop with a fine welcome. Pretty and bustling, Betws-y-Coed is not far - just a 10 minute or so drive for good places to eat or to tackle Eryri. Llandudno is a 30-minute drive drive for a stunning beach and the Great Orme and shops. Castell Conwy Castle is a mediaeval town steeped in history with a myriad of independent shops.
