I am fascinated by Scotland's rich history, and love to host people from anywhere in the world, introducing them to a unique part of it. You will be met and shown to the apartment, and someone will be available at the end of a phone during your stay.

Property info

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Step back in time and explore privately the whole glorious 5 floors of castle and then retire to enjoy your suite of rooms. The closest thing to time travel. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

Neighborhood info

The glorious River Tweed, races past the castle below and you can follow it's banks into the heart of Peebles, where there are plenty of charming shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Peebles is a 2 minute drive from Neidpath. Edinburgh airport and train station are 45 minutes away by car. There are lots of local taxi companies.
