Welcome! I am a part time teacher and Airbnb host. I love spending time with my family, pets and enjoying the countryside. I have been hosting for a few years and it gives great pleasure to know that guests are happy and gain enjoyment from the spaces we have created. Guests are left to their own devices but we are a call or text away.

Stables is a newly refurbished cottage with attention to detail and a little luxury. Well placed for hiding away; off the road, with the countryside on the doorstep and a well stocked local shop opposite, 2 great pubs are within a 5 minute walk. A courtyard is one side and a private garden the other, Here you can sit in the sun trap, on the outdoor furniture, evenings al fresco or watch movies in the lounge 49” Smart TV or bedroom 32 “ Smart TV.

Holt is a well located, large village. It has a great, friendly shop 1 minute from the house, a wonderful cafe called The Glove Factory 5 minutes walk away, two lovely pubs within 5 minutes walk and countryside all around to explore. Also 1 minute walk away is The Courts Gardens. Owned by The National Trust, this is a gem of a place and highly recommended. There is a lovely cross country walk to the National Trust Great Chalfield Manor, which has been used in many films and period dramas, including Poldark. Bradford on Avon is 5 minutes drive and this gorgeous town is full of charm. It has lots of restaurants, a river to cycle, walk or row upon and some interesting independent shops. From here, you can hop on a scenic train journey to Bath. This is a 15 minute journey. Also within easy reach of Holt are : Bath - 20/25 minutes Lacock - 15 minutes drive - Tudor village and Abbey Stourhead - 30 minutes - National Trust House and Gardens Longleat Safari Park - 30 minutes. Fabulous house, gardens and safari. Bowood House & Gardens - 20 minutes Corsham Cotswold town, with park and lake - 15 minutes Westbury White Horse - 20 minutes Dyrham Park National Trust House & Gardens- 25 minutes Castle Combe Village - 25 minutes
