Set in the heart of the village of Slingsby which is nestled in the Howardian Hills; an AONB, you are well placed to explore the surrounding countryside which is popular with walkers and cyclists alike. Castle Howard is only three miles from the The Pigsty and Sandsend and Whitby, York, Helmsley and The North Yorkshire Moors are all within easy reach. The accommodation is largely open plan; a perfect space for couples to enjoy. The modern kitchen is well equipped for cooking an evening meal or preparing a hearty breakfast and is fitted with dishwasher and washer/dryer in addition to a Nespresso coffee machine. There is ample dining and seating space for a cosy night in and wall – mounted television with Netflix and Amazon Prime. The sleeping area to the rear boasts a king size bed and shower room beyond. The property is decorated in light, bright tones throughout and benefits from underfloor heating; a must for the chilly Yorkshire winters! Outside is a private, enclosed courtyard with seating for two and there is plentiful on street parking. Slingsby benefits from an excellent village pub and in the neighbouring village of Hovingham there is a local shop, two bakeries and further pubs while approximately five miles away is Malton; “ Yorkshire’s Food Capital”. One small dog is accepted at the property but not allowed on the furniture.
