On the edge of Northumberland National Park and dating back to 1671, No1 Hotel has a bar, a restaurant, bedrooms with roll-top baths and free Wi-Fi in public places. Free private parking is available at the rear of the hotel. The bedrooms are decorated in warm colors and each has a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Some rooms have an original fireplace. A full English breakfast along with a selection of cereals, yogurts and juices is served in the restaurant between 8:30 - 10:30. River Till is 10 minutes’ walk away and it takes 5 minutes’ drive to get to Northumberland National Park. Bamburgh Beach is just over 30 minutes away by car.

Our lovely building is steeped in history and our fantastic quirky rooms are an ideal retreat after a long day walking in the Cheviot Hills No1 Hotel is a small hotel in the heart of Wooler. built in the late 1600's it is one if not the oldest buildings in Wooler. Located in Wooler, you can literally walk for miles in un spoilt Northumbrian Countryside as you walk out of your cottage doorstep or hotel accommodation. A 5 mile drive will take you to Thrunton Woods (also great for mountain biking) which has 3 designated walks and a further 5 miles away you will numerous walks in the Simonside hills within the Northumberland National Park.
