Friendly host and such a cozy stay. The English breakfast was fresh and so amazing. The living space was so cozy and artistic. The most inviting place. The room had heating, modern showers and such a cozy vibe. I will visit again with my family one day.

Wooler is a great base for exploring Northumberland.

Wooler is a great base for exploring Northumberland. The town itself was good - people very friendly and you can walk straight into lovely hills - St Cuthbert's Way goes right through Wooler. We were able to cycle to Holy Island as well and Flodden field and would have got to Scotland if it wasn't so hot that week!

There are several pubs in Wooler, one of which is The Anchor...

There are several pubs in Wooler, one of which is The Anchor whch had good beer and a lovely friendly atmosphere. The Milan restaurant is top class and reasonably priced for such excellent food. The absolute top place though is the Ad Gefrin Whisky distillery. Book to go on the Twilight Tasting tour which is a must visit. The food is exquisite. It's easy to get from Wooler by car to Bamburgh and Alnwick and all the other places you can visit if you have time. We highly recommend a stay here.

Lots to see and do.

Lots to see and do. The Canny Owl was a great place to eat and drink. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the other customers were very friendly and pleasant. It is but we spent more time in other places. Thank you for your “young “ compliment from two OAPs but, we did quite a lot of walking in different areas during our stay.

I pleasant rural village with lovely cafes, antique shops...

I pleasant rural village with lovely cafes, antique shops and charming stores selling a variety of items and not to mention the Ad Gefrin distillery where you can taste Northumberland Whiskey and tour the Anglo Saxon Museum.

Great food at the distillery and the Anchor and the Cherry...

Great food at the distillery and the Anchor and the Cherry Tree teashop. Good walking in the hills around including views of the Cheviot and of Lindisfarne. Some nice antique shops and a few good charity shops. Sadly no real ale to be found. Ad Gefrin is a very interesting museum and distillery - worth a visit though their own whisky will not be mature and on sale until 2027...

Fantastic place to stay in Wooler. Good old fashioned English bed & breakfast. We enjoyed a warm welcome and coffee and cake in the guests lounge on arrival. A lot of local useful advice. Delicious full English breakfast. En suite bedroom with a comfy bed and quiet night's sleep. Good Wi-Fi is available. Sufficient free parking on the street. We would love to stay here again. A cute little hut in a fantastic location. Close to the village of Wooler and a short drive away from Bamburgh and Holy Island. Beautiful views of the hills. Rob was friendly and provided clear instructions on how to get to the property. It was clean and comfortable, perfect for a short stay and a good base for exploring the surrounding area.

This was an excellent stay and we will return. The caravan is cosy and nicely decorated. It has usefull ameneties like a dvd player, smart tv, wifi, board games and all the required cooking utensils. The complimentary welcome hamper is a great touch. Wooler centre is a 2 minute drive or easily walkable for pubs.
