Clean and cosy with lots of little thoughtful extras to make it feel like home from home. Simple instructions for accessing the carpark, front door and using amenities, e.g., TV, cooker, etc. There were dog friendly bars, shops and restaurants,...

Welcome to our beautifully renovated flat, perfectly placed for exploring the scenic Scottish Borders. Ideally situated between Edinburgh, Newcastle and Carlisle, with easy access to major A roads, it’s a convenient base for both work and leisure. The nearby Borders Railway from Tweedbank takes you directly to the heart of Edinburgh in just 57 minutes, making day trips effortless. Bright, airy and cosy, the flat blends modern comfort with traditional character. Original cornices in the bedroom and hallway add a touch of elegance. Located at the end of the High Street, you’re just a short stroll from supermarkets, takeaways, cafés and local pubs, as well as the award-winning Wilton Lodge Park — ideal for peaceful riverside walks and time outdoors. **The Flat** Spanning 50 sqm, the layout feels spacious and welcoming. The large bedroom comfortably sleeps up to three guests, with a double bed (king-size duvet) and a single bed, plus wardrobe storage and bedside lighting. Positioned at the back of the building, it offers a quiet and restful night’s sleep. The cosy living room features a wall-mounted 55” TV with Roku for streaming your favourite apps, comfortable seating, and a table suitable for dining or working from home. A brick-effect feature wall, wooden floors and an electric stove create a warm, relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen is compact yet fully equipped with an electric cooker and hob, washing machine, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster, along with ample crockery, cutlery and glassware for longer stays. There’s a separate WC and a modern rain shower powered by a combi boiler, providing hot water in under 30 seconds with adjustable temperature control. Off-street parking is conveniently located behind the building. One of only three flats in a quiet building, the property is on the first floor (one flight of stairs) and accessed via a secure digital lock. Guests enjoy full use of the flat and 24/7 Wi-Fi throughout. Licence Number: SB-01222-F
We genuinely love hosting and sharing this special corner of the Scottish Borders with guests. For us, it’s all about creating a space where you can instantly relax whether that’s after a day exploring, working away from home, or visiting family and friends. We enjoy the little details: making sure the flat feels warm, welcoming and thoughtfully prepared so you can settle in straight away. There’s nothing better than knowing guests feel comfortable and at ease during their stay. When we’re not hosting, we love spending time outdoors especially walking locally and making the most of the beautiful scenery nearby. We’re always happy to recommend favourite walks, places to eat, or hidden gems in the area. We hope you have a wonderful stay and make yourselves completely at home. If there’s anything you need at all, we’re just a message away!
The town is famous for its textile heritage and knitwear industry, with opportunities to explore that story up close. You’re just a short walk from attractions like Wilton Lodge Park, a beautiful riverside park with peaceful walks and gardens perfect for dog walking, picnics or scenic strolls along the River Teviot. Nearby, Hawick Museum offers local history and art in a lovely setting within the park, and Borders Textile Towerhouse celebrates over 200 years of Borders textile tradition and craftsmanship. History fans can enjoy monuments like Turning of the Bull Monument and Hawick Mote, and the Heritage Hub is great for discovering more about local archives and heritage. For food and drink, there’s a lovely variety of local options right in town. Enjoy Italian favourites at Locanda Romana or Santa Marina Restaurant & Bar, classic British dishes at Adam's Kitchen, or a tasty meal at Hozan Turkish Grill. For something casual, try Salt’N’Fire or Brodies Restaurant there’s something for all tastes. The town also hosts some fantastic local events, including the Common Riding Festival, a traditional annual celebration full of parades and history if your visit coincides with it. Beyond Hawick itself, the wider Borders countryside offers scenic walking, cycling and exploration ideal for nature lovers looking to make the most of your trip.
