The Smithy is a characterful, single-storey cottage resting in Akeld, Northumberland. Hosting one bedroom, including a king-size and an additional sofa bed, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to four guests. Bed linen and towels included in rent. There is also a kitchen and a living/dining room. Outside, there is off-road parking, a courtyard, and access to a shared courtyard with furniture. The Cheviot Goat pub is located on site and is available to guests subject to seasonal opening hours. PLEASE NOTE: The on-site swimming pool and sauna facilities will be open for guest use from 1 April 2026. Use of the swimming pool and sauna is available for an additional charge and must be arranged directly with the owners prior to arrival. From 1 April 2026 pool access is charged at 42 per adult per week with shorter stays charged on a pro-rata basis.
