We also offer a glorious little sun trap of a beer garden to the rear. The Georgian market town of Bedale boasts a rich historical tapestry and is surrounded by some of Yorkshire’s most picturesque scenery. Bedale is a little gem of a place and being located just off the A1 we are at the ‘Beginning of the Dales’ which gives rise to the name Bedale (not Bed and Ale as suggested by some!). Bedale is packed with fantastic little independent shops selling just about everything you can imagine as well as The Three Coopers only being a 1-minute drive from Bedale Golf Club's 1894 parkland golf course and a 4-minute drive from Thorp Perrow Arboretum's 85-acre woodland garden, falconry and tea room where you can explore acres of stunning woodland, run wild and free in the adventure play area, or meet exotic birds and animals. Bedale is is also located just a few miles from the popular tourist town of Masham which is known for its breweries and annual sheep fair and not far from Wensleydale Railway which winds its way through some of Yorkshire’s most breath-taking vistas.
