On Tyddyn Du farm land we have 2 Shepherds Huts and a Pod. These Shepherds Huts are wonderfully sited on our farmland overlooking Moel Siabod and the magnificent Eryri Mountain Range. As we’ve mentioned, the Shepherds huts and Pod are placed on our land. The Electricity is powered by a Solar panel that charges the batteries, and Gas to heat the water, there is also a outlet to charge your mobile or Ipad. There are plenty of solar lamps outside to help you find your way around the Huts when it gets dark. They say that The Snowdonia National Park has one of the darkest sky's in the country, no light pollution. Our Shepherds Huts have all you need for a cozy retreat away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A couple of days away to relax or a whole week maybe to enjoy the many attractions that we have in the area. The 1st Hut has a Sofa Bed and a log burner and the 2nd Hut consists of a Shower/toilet and a well stocked Kitchenette. The Pod at the back has a Double bed and a Bunkbed and an extra toilet and Gas heater. ALSO an addition to the Huts and Pod is a Private Hot Tub. The Hot Tub is heated up on arrival and will be heated up the following days during your stay. Breakfast can be arranged and be brought up to the Huts, or a breakfast pack for you to cook yourselves, all at an extra cost. The experience you’ll get by staying at Siabod Huts is TOTAL Privacy with Magnificent Views of the Eryri Mountains.

Hi I'm Menna, I'm a farmers wife with 2 boys aged 25 and 22 years old. My interest in hosting guests started when i got married and moved in to the farm. I saw the potential of starting a B&B business, and it worked well while the boys grew up and being able to work from home. By now, year 2026 I have stopped taking guests in our home after doing it for 24 years. I then ventured and set up Siabod Huts in 2014. I soon realised that over the Autumn and Winter months it was a lot quieter and so then the Hot Tub arrived, and that made a huge difference to my bookings over the colder seasons. My latest venture is a new Barn Conversion which we finished working on end of January 2020. That business didnt start very well as you can imagine during the pandemic, but has picked up well since then and both the Huts business and Barn go well with each other when ive got bigger families and friends. I'm quite happy with both businesses by now.

Our Farm is located high up on a hill with Spectacular views of the Snowdonia Mountains. We are in a very peaceful countryside area, within 3 miles from Llanrwst, the nearest shopping town and many Hotels and good restaurants.
