I was a teacher for years and a mother of five children . Myhusband and I own the farm that The King's Rest is on . We love travelling as well as having guests that come to experience this part of New Zealand.

The Kin's Rest is a charming vintage- themed 4 bedroom , 2 bathroom farmhouse nestled in the beautiful Peria Hills . Sleeping up to 8 guests, it offers peaceful rural views just 5.5km from Matamata town and only a 13 minute drive to the Hobbiton Movie Set . the perfect countryside base for family, friends, or your middle earth adventure .
