We asked about the possibility of having access to a microwave, and, within a few hours, they brought one up to our room! Also, we loved the bustling atmosphere right in the university district and the many delightful shops and restaurants. The hotel itself was elegant, with a beautiful restaurant and pool area.

Perfect central location. The room was spacious and clean and the shared facilities on the 1st floor (kitchen, gym and laundry) was perfect. Great value for such a central spot.

Everything was available and clean. The check-in procedure went smoothly, and we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel.

The amenities of the room, like a set of dishes, dishwasher, and stove, exceeded my expectations. We put the mini fridge to good use and ate many meals in the room. I accidentally broke one of the glasses and the staff was quick to send up someone to clean up the mess and bring me a replacement. I spent a lot of time in the room and it was very quiet and comfortable.

It can be updated a bit. But the aircon system was good.

Great location, super walkable to food, transit, and sights. Breakfast was great, didn't use the pool or gym. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

The location is very convenient, only one block from Melbourne Central station, with most amenities available within walking distance. The reception team are helpful and professional. I booked a studio without the balcony but got one with a balcony, with city view, thanks team! My room was clean and very comfortable, will book again if there's an opportunity. Highly recommended and worth the experience.

Location and appartment was really good!

Amazing location but its the customer service that really makes Ovolo Laneways my go-to hotel in Melbourne. I was given a free room upgrade and upon entering the room there was a cute welcome gift of jellybeans with a note saying "We've missed you, it's 'bean' a while". Adorable! The amenities in the room are always exceptional, and the staff are always friendly.

Great hotel great staff and great location

Staff were very friendly and accomodated our request to store our luggage as we arrived early. Room was modern and spotlessly clean. No issues with sound at all. Size of room was perfect for our needs, bed was comfortable. Location quiet yet close to the cafes of North Melbourne and QVM. So convenient with free tram stop was just around the corner. Would definitely stay here when next in Melbourne!
