Upon arrival, we were checked in by Fiona who was very welcoming, efficient and kindly changed our room to one which was more easily accessible to my husband who had hurt his back falling on the ice. She couldn't have been more helpful. All the staff were smiling. We had lunch in the restaurant which was delicious. Very large comfortable room.

Amazing, great staff, you get a 10 on all just for the value compared to the price. It's not too fancy but really modern and nice, has everything you need, and was exceptional value and a nice stay.

Simple location, no real hassle. Location is really good for a weekend in Birmingham and the rooms are clean and really well kept. Rooms are actually soundproof also.

Great location (10 min walk from New St, 5 min walk from Brindley Place, 10 min walk to Jewellery Quarter), which was surprisingly quiet. All the staff were really great and friendly, we left our bags pretty much all day on both days, which was no trouble, free hot drinks in reception with lots of tea options, kettle and tea/coffee in the room, big comfy beds - all in all really great value which far exceeded our expectations for a budget hotel in the city centre!
