Excellent location just 5 mins walk to the tube & bus station. streets, shops and café in the neighborhood were amazing…. very friendly staff . We arrived early and the staff were very accommodating and understanding and ensured that our room was ready quickly. Very clean… The bed was super comfy . The internet connection is very fast. Hotel is old-school which is great because let's face it, pretty much all recent innovation in the hospitality sector has been in the direction of fewer services for more money. There is an actual person at the reception, a lift with buttons for the floor, light switches in the room that turn on/off the light at your command and not at the command of a "smart" system, a TV remote that turns on the TV and not an endless "app" with hotel advertisements, an AC unit which lets YOU control the temperature and the fan and can be set under 30 degrees (even under 20 actually. Don't abuse it and turn it off when leaving the room). The room has an ironing board and an iron, the bed is comfortable with plenty of pillows, the bathtub has a simple tap (up/down to control stream, left/right to control temperature, something many hotels aspire to improve on and always fail), there are toiletries. The breakfast is made individually for every guest, is basic but more than enough and tasty. You're in England so get a full English, obviously. I couldn't be happier.

Thought this waa a waste of money!

Thought this waa a waste of money! The highlight was the cab ride but the rest of the visit wasn't very good. Some wax works were good eg Ed Sheeran but others Eg Princess Diana, David Beckham were shocking. Not value for money at all.

Book in advance for this one.

Book in advance for this one. Its cheaper online and there is a cafe opposite, should you have some time on your hands, before you can go in. It is excellent and there are many waxworks to view. From pop music, theatre, sports to politics... to name but a few. The Royal family is also there and you and your family, can have your photograph taken next to them. The second half of the visit is taken in a movable car. Its a bit like Disney World and takes you through the history of London. Half way along you have your picture taken and you can buy a copy of this, at the end of your ride. I had mine turned into fridge magnets. A very enjoyable visit 💖

Very crowded, very hot and not well organised at all.

Very crowded, very hot and not well organised at all. They just let people in as they arrive, and it becomes difficult to get round or see the exhibits. That said, the actual waxworks are very convincing and there are lots of photo opportunities. Over rated, and not one to do with small children.
