The place is not accessible by a vechile but itvis a great place to visit. Make sure you enter thel ghat before dusk as once the Arti prayers begin the entrance gets blocked.

Nearby area you get good tea, milk puffs (Malayia) that's how they call it , delicious chat, mouth watering Banarasi pan and tonnes of fabrics.
However Malaya is available only in winters and is a winter delicacy.

Honestly I watching aarti by boat is hyped as it only looks beautiful when you are at some miles away, mostly not recommended. Because the boat owner only goes when his boat is full and private boat cost more so not budget friendly.
Instead grab that first seat or corner at Dashaswamedh ghat to witness purest divine ❣️

For Aarti reach an hour before and occupy a space also pls keep a water bottle with you and don't over exxagerate before visit the Aarti.
As I have seen people fainting due to loud noises and pool of people

Must wear mask.
Must wear mask. Boat riding cost 200rs including Aarti and ride. Need to bargain. Hotel staff, Auto drivers, rickshaw drivers, everybody will offer to help with shopping but do not follow them, look around. Buying clothes from ghat areas not a good idea. If anyone interested to buy sarees, can visit Ratna saree shop. Best and reasonable. Always take care of personal belongings.

Excellent place to stay near Baba Viswawanath Mandir & Dasaswamedh Ghat in Varanasi. The Clerk Rajesh is great & very helpful. The owner Shivendra is quite friendly with an exceptional knowledge about Kashi. Knows the nooks and corners of the city like his palm. On top of that he owns a Banarasi Saree store which has a fantastic collection with unbelievable discount.

The property is 300 years old with lot of heritage feelings. Staffs are really good and helpful. The location of the hostel is too perfect to reach kashi biswanath temple, godhulia chawk, pandey ghat and dasaswamedh ghat. I love the surrounding ambience .. property is covered up with cctv
