United StatesThis guest house was a wonderful stay and I was very comfortable. I received a warm welcome upon arrival by Philippa and she had given me a better room which had a beautiful window overlooking the lake. The room was spacious yet cozy and loved having tea served to me in my room. The breakfast in the mornings had the best croissants! Great space to walk down to the beach if you like to wander. The garden was lovely with all the blooming flowers. But the thoughtfulness was so kind. I decided to skip breakfast my last morning and ddiscovered they had made me a take away bag with fresh fruit and one of those amazing croissants for my drive that morning. I highly recommend staying and definitely plan to return!

United StatesThe house was absolutely perfect. We loved the big yard and privacy. It was very easy to find and park due to the explicit directions given by the host. There was an extensive guide available with lots of information about the house and surrounding areas, including restaurants. The house was impeccably clean with lots of morning coffee/and tea supplies. I would definitely recommend for anyone traveling to TeAnau. It is only 10 minutes for TeAnau and much more affordable and private then places I looked at in TeAnau. Thank you for sharing your cosy house!

Small but very clean and cute and perfect location near a cute pub for dinner and great cafe for the one night before our overnight cruise of Doubtful Sound. Host live on property but are very discreet.

Owners were lovely, accommodating and offered suggestions for our stay. Great location if doing a Doubtful Sound cruise from Manapouri, just a 7 minute walk to the dock. Loved staying in such a historic guest host.

Manapouri is a very small village, not so many alternatives to stay overnight. We stayed 2 nights for attending a cruise to Doubtful Sound. The cruise departure point was within 20min walking. The property management sent beforehand a message about "nearly no availablity" of food options in Manapouri - we appreceate this message a lot and we visited Te Anau for croceries

Jacklyn is a great host and responsive. Manapouri is a lovely location and close to Te Anau. Lots of things to do in this area of New Zealand. Doubtful Sound is a must do trip. The tiny house was very clean and good for one person or two for a short visit without any need for cooking. The Church bar next door has good food and drinks.

Nice little cottage with everything one might need. We especially enjoyed the location close to Doubtful Sound cruise departure and within driving distance from Milford Sound. Baby alpacas at the neighboring farm are adorable.

Everything😎 All we needed for an excellent stay. High quality towels and bedding. Super comfy bed. Everything needed in kitchen to cook a meal, including spices. 5 minute walk to Doubtful Sound tour👍🏻 Nice walking on heated tiles to loo in middle of the night. Beautiful views as well🏔️
