Pet-friendly hotels and homes in Dunedin

The bathrooms were modern and exceptionally clean, with fancy mirrors. The bed was very comfortable, although the top bunk was a little high, so you need to be careful when climbing up. There was plenty of space to store belongings as well. The kitchen was spotless and fully equipped with all the cooking utensils and tableware you could need. There was also a cozy lounge area, a nice study space, and lots of relaxing little corners throughout the hostel. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, and you could tell they worked hard to keep everything clean and well maintained. I absolutely loved staying here, it’s the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed in. If I ever come back to Dunedin, I will definitely stay here again!

Great value for money. We needed somewhere that would accommodate the family. 2 of us were staying 2 nights and another 2 arriving for the third night. We booked a family unit. They were accommodating and it was only $50 extra for the other 2 for the third night.

Was very Cosy and homely. Absolutely loved staying here. Staff were wonderful to deal with. The room was superb. Nice and modern. Beautiful view with a nice balcony. I really couldn't fault anything at all, definitely look forward to staying here again.

Cozy small apartment, but sufficient to fit comfortably 3-4 people. Fully staffed room and kitchen, compliment bread, spreads, tea/coffee. Owners dog Clementine was a highlight of our stay, super friendly and playful. Brighton beach is 200m away, wide and not crowded

Private, quiet,peaceful! The pictures do not do this property justice. Well appointed (but for no microwave). It had everything else, even bird seed for all of the feathered friends that occupied the beautiful gardens and trees that were on this property. The view of the sea from the floor to ceiling windows was incredible. Decorated with an artistic touch, this felt like a very cool home. They even offer up slippers/flip flops in different sizes for use. The wood burning stove was wonderful. We could have stayed here for much longer. So relaxing! The best view and amazing hosts who started the fire to heat up the hot tub so we could sit and warm up after watching the little blue Penguins come in on the Peninsula! The kids loved it and our dog loved meeting their sweet dog, Cara. Everything about it is just so perfect. You don’t need to worry about the thing! Fresh breakfast supplies, each day and enough to make plenty of food for the family :-)

A beautiful house that was spotless and very comfortable. The location is perfect, just a few minutes out of town, with stunning views and the cutest alpacas as neighbors, which was such a lovely touch. Communication with the host was easy and friendly, and we were warmly welcomed with fresh eggs and a thoughtful welcome gift. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return anytime.
