Places to Stay in Oudtshoorn

I booked a stay here for my family while on a roadtrip. We were impressed by the facilities and totally blown away by our room (10) and feel like we hit the jackpot with that particular room. We are looking for a reason to go back now and have a longer stay.

Fantastic hosts, location and food.

Stayed here on a road trip from Western Cape to Gauteng. The luxury tent was a great experience. Very comfortable bed and wonderful views on the porch of the tent. Great bathroom with jacuzzi bath in the rear portion of the tent. The hosts cooked a lovely dinner and breakfast. The Swartzberg Pass and Cango caves are very close by and both worth doing if you're in the area.

A lovely and scenic breakaway in a beautiful guest house- will for sure be back!

Big room, kind staff, nice breakfast

The location was spectacular. It was very cool to be staying on an actual working farm. I want to have meat goats and Boer are the kind I planned to have so it was super cool to see them here. And of course OMG 2 giraffes. What a treat. Love the Sprinkbok too, their colors are beautiful. The food has been excellent. The staff so so so amazing and friendly. Looking forward to feeding the giraffes at breakfast and to go on our included game drive. The ostrich skin covered furiinitue in the dining room is epic. And the animal rugs and busts. This place has been more than I could ever have imagined. so many stars. Highly recommend.

The star was lovely and everything was so clean

The greeting at reception was warm and friendly. . We were shown to our rooms which were spacious, airy and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent everything you could possibly ask for continental and full cooked breakfast. Overall impression of the hotel is excellent and great value for money.

Quiet and private. Had everything we needed. Loved the hot tub! Staff was helpful and laid back.

De Oude Meul is always a great accommodation to stay in.The staff is very friendly, and are willing to help anytime.The beds are comfortable, nice showers, and kitchen is awesome.I love the breakfast and swimming pools.

The location is great. The accommodation is spacious and clean and it has everything you need in self catering. Check-in was very easy and smooth.

Everything was even beautifuler than shown on the pictures. Errol and Venita are very fine hosts with attention to the guests. Beautiful conversations. Our room was even beyond. Nice pool, beautiful garden, private parking, good and compleet breakfast. If we vist oudtshoorn some time again without no doubt we will stay with Errol and Venita. We forgot one of our bags. Errol brought it up to us on our route through the Swartberg pas. That was more than we could wish from them.

Everything was great. Clean rooms and friendly staff.

The breakfast was excellent both days we were there, and served in the room. The room we were given was an outside one, but pleasant. The house itself looks lovely and the front garden is beautiful.

The hosts are super friendly and take care of everything. The rooms are clean and nice. The pool is a nice way to cool off on hot days. They also help with planning activities or recommending restaurant. We can highly recommend a booking at 88 Baron.

Great place to stay for overnight or a number of days!

We loved everything about the property- the beautiful and peaceful surroundings, walking distance to restaurants and shops, the puppies and the great people that offer the place. We highly recommend Hartland Garden Suites.

Beautiful setting and home Very comfortable

We loved everything about the place. The lovely big kitchen that has all the equipment you will need. The rooms was spacious with beautiful bathrooms, liked the shower in the main bedroom the most. Children loved that there was wifi and the pool mostly. Liked that is was close to all the necessary shops needed.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and quite spacious. We were very impressed by the 5 star breakfast we received. It was the perfect way to end our holiday. The place is truly a hidden gem. Thank you.
