United KingdomWhat a find! Minutes from the channel tunnel and an easy drive to Hythe for all amenities. We loved the room and the pretty gardens. We were able to sit outside and eat our picnic tea in the sunshine. The bed was great and we slept well. Good takeaway breakfast.

SlovakiaThe Annex room with private bathroom was very good. The description of having to climb 40 stairs to the annex rooms is misleading. It was not a straight up 40
Steps but definitely not for those traveling with suitcases. Loved the closeness to the cathedral which allowed free unlimited walking in the cathedral and on the grounds all day. Breakfast was sit down by time skits and offered a fabulous huge choice. The rooms bathroom was big and the room had a large smart tv. Internet signal was strong. Definitely the place to stay if you’re a pilgrim starting the Via Francigena because you feel your right in the centre of this beautiful religious sanctuary.

The location was great, with a short walk to the beach and local Co-op across the road. 10min walk to the city centre. Staff at the hotel/pub were helpful. Free parking on the street.

Oak side Lodge was a beautiful place to stay situated just outside Canterbury City centre. It felt very family friendly and welcoming. The room felt private but still had plenty of windows for ventilation and a fan. The bathroom was spacious and well laid out, and the owners were kind and excellent cooks.

Fabiana was fantastic, a warm welcome and a great host throughout. The location was brilliant, so close to the harbour arm and creative quarter so a perfect place to stay if you want to be close to all the action in Folkstone. Less than a minute away from a petrol station so we could stock up on some drinks to put in the fridge in our room.

Hotel is mix of old school, 'outdated', which we like, and modern(e.g. reception and bar areae).
Construction in progress without causing disturbance to guests.
Location 10mins walk to city centre.
Would book again.

The house is beautiful, clearly a very well loved family home, a beautiful renovation with everything considered to ensure a lovely stay

One of the best places I've stayed this year. The views are stunning, the suite itself is worthy of just staying in and enjoying. The owners are wonderful people with the deep knowledge both in history and architecture. We had a pleasant and insightful chat about the building's history.
If you go to Ramsgate, this is your best place to stay.
The location is also the best (5 min walk to the high street, just outside the public pier and scenic paths along the seaside), and did I mention the sea view?
