IndonesiaEverything is very good. The staff can also speak English, although I speak Japanese to them. I think this hotel is very ideal not only for solo travellers, but also for groups of 2-4 people travelling together. I also recommend trying their Private Onsen. Will return again soon :)

Great location, parking available. So many options for baths and plenty of private baths to choose from in addition to the large public bath. All facilities were very clean. Other activities available including table tennis etc. if you had children this would be a great place to stay as there are dedicated play areas, sports areas, reading corners and more for them.
Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious with lots of choice. The room itself was very spacious and clean.

We enjoyed our stay at SOY, the hosts Tai & Nobuko made us feel extremely welcomed, Tai was generous and punctual with providing shuttle service to and from town which was great given the location of the house being further away from the city center. The atmosphere of SOY was exceptional, we got to slow down and appreciate our surroundings which gave us the much needed reset to our busy itinerary. We hope the cat Tama is feeling better since we last saw her!

Clear self check in making it easy for late arrival. Location is at tyre city center, walkable to the main sights. House is very clean and welcoming with simple origami gestures. It has a very well equipped kitchen and dining which is great for family

Brilliant place to stay. Good location, walking distance to everything. Japanese style buffet breakfast was very good. Great authentic experience. The Onsen was the best one we visited in Japan.

Stylish room, very clean and quite. The manager Octavio is really nice and helpful, he offered us saké and information. Even he offered to take us to the station when we were leaving. The hotel is at walking distance from the best locations in Takayama. Room is large and charming, chamber dresses kimono style were available. Toilette Is shared but perfect. Recommended! It was the cherry on the cake for our stay in Takayama.

Above expectations, peaceful place to stay with owners showing high degree of hospitality and authenticity.
Very high level cooking with quality ingredients (breakfast and dinner), which normaly will be found in high class restaurants. Discovery of surprisingly good natural wines.
Great kind of Zen atmosphere due to the location, the interior design, the music, all very relaxing...so it felt like home.

Lovely stay in a lovely location, just minutes away from transport, about ten steps to a local mart, not far from a clothes washing facility and most importantly for us it was close to the water and a lovely park. The facilities are clean, the traditional beds comfy, and having a small grill for rotating and cooking was an added bonus. The hosts were so lovely and made the stay one of our most favourite ones from our time in Japan.

I loved how neat and tidy it was. The staff were amazing and made the stay what it was. The location was really good, just outside the city centre. It was a 5 min walk to good food and 15 min walk to the main shopping area.
