Places to Stay in Takayama

It was a good price, easy to find the place. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful.

A wonderful hotel with very friendly staff. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. The breakfast is incredibly delicious with a great selection (the dumplings were my favorite!). The spa area is absolutely fantastic—I would love to come back!

Everything was right, from start to finish. The place, the bed, the lounge, I’m literally planning to go back with my family. Is the first time ever, while traveling, that I’ve felt so comfortable in a hotel room. I felt like the room was a place to be, to stay, to live and it didn’t bother me to be there while a snowstorm was raging outside. The bed was amazing, even though it was a Japanese futon, the staff was super nice and welcoming and the free drinks at the lounge were amazing. This is the best hotel I’ve ever been and I will definitely return.

Onsen on the 9th floor. Great location, only 5 min from the old part of the city. Several good restaurants within 5 minutes walk

It was clean with good room space and comfy. Excellent location just almost in front the Station. The breakfast was standard but good enough. I highly recommend this hotel to stay in Takayama if you look just a place to stay.

Such a beautiful home! With such thoughtful details. The cellphone, chargers, wifi for our use. The yukatas, slippers, umbrellas, little toiletry kits, drip coffee and tea. The views of the zen garden. Everything was put together so well. Perfectly situated a block away from the train station.

The location is great, very close to the train and bus station. The staff is friendly and helpful even with the language barrier. The place is a little run down, but it is comfortable and the linens were clean. A good place to sleep at a great price. I would stay there again.

The hotel was in a great location, close to the train station and a short walk into the main town. Room was spacious and comfy and had a killer view of the Alps. In room large bath was a nice touch.
