I loved the entire feel of the place. It was just what we had been looking for to rest. Loved the cabin/lodge so cozy. Oh and Rose was the perfect thoughtful host!❤️❤️ She made us feel so welcome and comfortable during our entire stay there! Thank you Rose for taking care of us and anticipating our every need. I hope to see you again soon! I can not wait to get back there this time hopefully for longer...5 days seemed to just fly by too fast!

The best location we have seen in the 7 years we travel in the western cape. A hidden gem! The garden is beautiful, so is the manor and the room. Everything is beautiful with old Dutch antiques and the rooms are designed with taste. The staff is more than friendly. Many places we have seen, were nice, but often badly maintained or not really suitable for a holiday spot. We already booked for the December 2026-Jan 2027. Need we say more?

This was my second time staying here. Was a wonderful as it was the first time. Worth every penny. Safe and quiet. You will feel right at home. Really a nice little place away from home.

Conveniently located close to wine estates like Vergelegen and Lourensford. Nespresso machine in the room and complimentary cappuccinos on arrival. Great breakfast, including cooked to order, sitting inside or outside. Very helpful owner who could advise on restaurants, walks in area, etc.

The location was ideal for what I wanted.

The area was amazing nice and relaxing, the hosts gave us an very warm welcome and we felt at peace and had a home away from home.
