Lovely cheerful staff, very comfortable and quiet room, bit quirky on top of the shopping mall! Excellent value for money.

Chef Endra is the best! Excellent introduction to Surabaya and local cuisine. The entire staff is so attentive and intuitive to our needs even before we ask for assistance.

We stayed very short time at the hotel and during our stay everything was perfect. They have nice open buffet dinner available in the Lime restaurant and it is a very good value for money. I recommend it.

This hotel is exceptionally beautiful, rich in Javanese-Indonesian Culture. We also has experienced batik paiting at the workshop at the lobby.

The room was very comfortable and cozy, perfect for recharging after a few days of physical activities. It was also valentines day and the hotel made special arrangements with my partner to give me a surprise. The facilities and amenities were great, and the location was convenient to explore the bustling parts of the city.

Very professional staff, a good location, and a great breakfast with excellent staff once again. I will definitely stay here again. The bed was also of excellent quality!

Shangri-La Surabaya is still the gracious Queen of 5 star hotels in Surabaya, with impeccable service from qualified and well-trained staff, excellent facilities - a really nice, large resort pool with kids' pools and water slide not interfering with the main pool, a good spa/gym area with free and bookable table tennis - comfortable rooms with large windows, expansive views and very comfortable beds providing firm support with a soft topper. Wood fired pizza oven in the Italian restaurant meant yummy fare there too.

I love the cleanliness of the room and the bathroom. Wifi works great. TV is great. AC is great too. Elevators work well.

Check in reception: very good Reception via call from room: very good and prompt response even late evening. Check out reception: not as good as check-in. I know I have to wait for the receptionist to complete the conversation with a guest before me. I hope the receptionist realize I am heavily loaded with back/front and try to address it quick if possible. By the time I handover the room key for checkout, the process is almost done in a blink but waiting time in such situation can be handled much better. Waiting area: should have place to rest nearer to the reception counter to avoid this situation. Special thank yo the laundry service: prompt, on time and great packing Breakfast: Good range of selection. Small issue with the staff around to clean up: should pay more attention to the person is eating while he is doing the cleaning near by: either wait or relocate the person for cleaning. Spa service: better if you can provide a basket for guest to put the stuff in without putting them to the chair.

The bed and the pillow was top notch. The room is clean and tidy, enough for two people while using a twin bed

Everything, from the moment we arrived, exceptional, friendly and efficient. The club floor is well worth the experience, nice room, high quality linens, love the bathroom and shower. The evening cocktails is superb, breakfast was plentiful with good variety and freshness. Love it and would definitely return soon. Staffs are friendly and polite and efficient. Thank you
