This is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at throughout my journey that started on 8/11 from Berlin, Nuremberg, Munich, and Stuttgart. The location is superb, within walking distance to all the attractions, making it extremely convenient for sightseeing.

We had an amazing stay at Hotel am Rathaus . The location was perfect, close to all the main attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. The breakfast buffet was very good. We'll definitely be back!

The bathrooms were exceptional! The overhead shower was providing plenty of hot water, and the temperature controller could be overridden (> 40 degrees if needed). Nice experience!

Great location for the Christmas markets and if you are using public transportation.

It's very cute hotel in the center of Heidelberg. If I visit again definetely stay at that hotel.

Location for this property was wonderful. A short walk to the funicular station for the Schloss Heidelberg, a short walk to the plaza and many restaurants and cafes. The room was comfortable, basic and clean. A kettle and coffee/tea/cappuccino powder was provided, with a refrigerator located on the floor nearby. Check in and out instructions were clearly communicated.

The location, room and restaurant exceeded all my expectations. I would most definitely stay here again.

Great location, looking out on plaza. Breakfast was included was wonderful. The rooms were big and charming. Everything was easy and convenient. The hotel building is very old but everything worked and was truly a wonderful German experience.
