Staff went out of there way to help with everything. Rooms were VERY clean. For the price it was excellent. Very secure and safe hotel. Location was only 1/2 block from the 5th avenue and a block from ocean.

Looooved the property it was an amazing stay ! The waterpark was so fun for the kids the pools the service was awesome ! The restaurants were delicious ! The Mexican buffet was by far a fav ! The night was was great b super family friendly and great for adults !

Great location, rooms are spacious., staff is friendly and professional. The pool is clean. Excellent buffet breakfast. We had an excellent experience with the hydrotherapy circuit, Alexandra did a great job! I definitely recommend this hotel

Loved this hotel! Great pool area. Modern decor throughout and very clean rooms. Close to everything in town and to the beach. Food was very good and breakfast was delicious.

Location is great for the beach and more calm area of the main street (5th avenue), our kids loved the pool. Spacious apartment with comfortable beds, kind staff and simple check-in and check-out.

Traditional Spanish decor. Comfortable bed. Great location. Very QUIET side street at night. No Discos near by!!!! 1 block from ADO bus. We arrived at10 pm with a late flight from US. Took ADO for $12.each. Staff was there and able to check us in. Great security with staff manning gated entrance all night.

I really enjoyed the value and location for this hotel. It was exactly what was needed for a few nights with a friend new to the area. I'd appreciated that the hotel would let us in slightly early and how they made a late check out available for a reasonable fee. I would definitely stay again.

This was my 4th visit to Hotel Lunata in Playa del Carmen since 2002. On the surface, very little has changed over the years. In this case, that is a very good thing! Of course there has been some modernization in that time, such as very good WiFi for each room, however the warm and inviting room design, the friendly staff and the overall impression the hotel leaves have all not changed. We again had a very pleasant visit and were sad to leave. The breakfast is very basic with some cereals, tea, coffee and toast. It’s enough to get you going into the day, but it’s not a feast and is not the main focus of this boutique hotel. It is self-service in the Lunata natural garden, just like it was in 2002. We brought some fruits from the market and the staff offered to peel and cut the fruit for us. Fantastic service.

I liked everything about the property. The customer service from all of the staff was amazing. The drinks and food were top tier. The bed and pillows were so plush, I didn’t want to leave my bed. The day and night entertainment were truly entertaining. I will 100% return to this resort

The Hotel is very nice, it has a wonderful beach and the rooms are located in separated buildings hidden from the others. The natural environment, with the vegetation and the small wild animals makes everything perfect. The food in all the restaurants is also very tasty.

During our staying the hurricane beryl landfall at Playa del Carmen beach, the emergency power generator provided electricity and WiFi internet access all time. We restaurants provided meals and drinks and the staff was exceptional, we will return to the property for sure!

All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the facilities are very nice. Excellent place to go with friends and family.

Without a doubt one of the best hotels I have stayed in.. Highly recommended. Everything is excellent. The food and quality are amazing. The infinity pool is excellent. The service from the staff is excellent. The location is within walking distance of the lively 5th Avenue of Playa del Carmen. The rooms are spacious and well equipped.

Everything was phenomenal, from the swim up room to the restaurants to the beach to the spa to the entertainment. Pop up lunch specials were all beyond amazing food! I felt special and pampered and relaxed.
