Everything the evening meal in restaurant was exceptional

The staff made the whole experience for us, so friendly and obviously well trained. Both people that checked us in and out were smiley and chatty. Tara the manager was personable, kind, sympathetic and went above to us, to give genuine local recommendations which we used and very much appreciated! She took time to get to know us, even when the whole team and establishment were very busy. The restaurant food and drinks were delicious, great choices and very Instagrammable. Again, all the servers we met were all chatty and welcoming. They were accommodating for hotel guests and passers by alike. It was very busy for brunch but service was speedy, not a problem.

The room was very clean and had everything we needed. All staff were great and always there to help. Central location with plenty to do around Birkdale and Southport.

Not only was the property itself a fantastic stay right by the beach, our host Warren went the extra mile to help me pull off a surprise holiday for me and my partner I booked the house as a surprise stay for our engagement, and Warren made sure we had everything we needed for the stay, made sure the house and garden were pristine, and even left a bottle of prosecco and a congratulations card for us, thank you! The house itself is located right by the beach on a quiet residential road, the beds were clean and comfortable, and the living room and garden were a great place to relax.

Laura was the most fantastic, perfect host. She was friendly, had great knowledge on the area and left you to it. The room was spacious, clean and bright and beautifully designed. Every where you looked there was attention to detail which maximised comfort and made you feel at home. It is important to note that as a lesbian couple we felt extremely safe staying with Laura, and felt her warmt and kindess from the second we walked through the door. We will absolutely be staying again when we are in the area!
