Rooms in Hawkshead

The staff were very helpful. My Husband had asked if they could get some flowers and chocolates for when we arrived as it was my birthday. The room was nice and cosy. Breakfast was delicious.

Absolutely amazing place, me & my hubby couldn't have asked for more. Cosy fires, the Staff were lovely & couldn't do enough for you. The food was our favorite it was just incredible, we will definitely be going back.

Definitely a highlight of our trip. Such a gorgeous place; felt like we were in an episode of Downton Abbey or something. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake, and even though it was cold and rainy, the hotel was cosy, warm and inviting, and set up perfectly for the Christmas period. Lovely staff who made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay there again.

Only thing that i missed between this place and my home was couple of umbrellas :). Lovely plave and very well tohought for the need of a traveller.

This is our second time at YHA Hawkshead. It is a beautiful place and alot to offer in surroundings. Esthwaite lake views while walking down the hostel away from hawkshead village are amazing. Far sawrey area is so beautiful. We love the place and staff. Excellent value for money.

Welcoming, friendly lovely staff. Room was delightful and quirky. Good wholesome tasty food. Breakfast was ample and delicious Will definitely be going back .

The breakfast was lovely..the location was off the beaten track but was lovely.. idyllic..not crowds of people..

The whole package was just superb , breakfast , the room , the bathroom the location , and the hosts were fabulous , would definitely recommend ❤️

Perfect location and huge parking spaces right outside. Excellent welcome with carefully considered little touches. Exceptionally high quality furnishings and attention to detail.

The house and garden look cute from the outside and we had two parking spots assigned which helps as we are a party of four. Beds were very comfy and shower pressure was good although it does get weaker if two people are showering at the same time. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking equipment.

Great location especially if you're doing The Lap, ultra. Spotlessly clean great facilities and very comfortable beds.

My family and I had a great stay. The space was clean, well appointed, great location with a short walk to the village. Beautiful views of farmland with sheep, hospitable host. Couldn't ask for more!
