Beautiful facility. Our room was extremely comfortable and the food exceptional! Best fish and chips ever.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is beautiful. We were greeted in our fool with a bottle of Prosecco and chocolate for our anniversary.

It was a lovely stay, the rooms were great and shower too. Breakfast had many options and was delicious. Staff super friendly and helpful. The property is safe and well maintained. Will definitely come back

The room was perfect for a solo person traveling, it was very cozy, clean and the perfect size for a one to two nights stay. It was walking distance from the city and in a beautiful location. Your stay would truly feel like you one of the locals.

The service was super ! and the restaurant downstairs' even better. Despite the property is located far from the center, it is very well connected with buses.

It was very handy to have a fitness center and pub on the property. It was also very close to the bus stop to go downtown.

Very comfortable home with all facilities you need for a few days away. Shower gel,shampoo,towels,welcome pack for breakfast . Comfortable beds and fabulous modern shower.Lots of storage in bedrooms too. Dining room with patio out the back. Garden was secluded and private and very quiet . Great idea to get into city was the 8 minute train ride costing £3 taking 3minutes to walk up to station and train right into Waverly. A real home from home.

It was quiet and clean and very peaceful! Very chill neighborhood got some small bakery with fresh food and nearby grocery stores! We stayed in the king room, it was lovely for us couple. Lots of nice nearby takeaways (Gurkha is an amazing Nepalese/Indian restaurant, kohinoor (not good we had to throw away the food), just a suggestion for anyone who decides on a takeaway). Even though the bathroom was sharing it was clean and well maintained - I am very particular about clean toilets and bathroom and was skeptical of sharing initially, but this was good. Beach is a short walk away, Edinburgh and the surroundings are a walk friendly place so expect lots of walking. There's always buses running throughout to and fro from the city centre. Our room was also very clean and tidy and we tried to leave it the same way :) The place did justice as per the pictures and info shown.

The hosts/owners Alice and Kevin made us feel welcomed and comfortable immediately. It was like staying with good friends. Super attentive and the breakfasts were delicious.

Lovely views from expansive windows in spacious lounge. Well appointed and comfortable throughout.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Fa’side castle. It is definitely a unique experience to stay in a building with so much history. The location is excellent as well. It is a quick 20 min drive to the city of Edinburgh. I really enjoyed the hospitality offered by Sue and Ian. The breakfast spread in the room allowed us to start our day exploring the Scottish highlands and Edinburgh on the right note.
