The property looked great on the photos but it was even better in person. Was lovely to have the indoor/outdoor space on warm Hawke's Bay days and the owners were very generous in the supplies they left, everything was thought of so you didn't have to worry about buying a whole roll of foil or bottle of oil just to use a little bit. Homegrown produce from the garden was a special touch.

it's a wonderful place with all we meet. It's quiet and stay away from the bustle and hustle of the city.

WE LOVE IT! It is as stunning as it is in the pictures - if not more so. The tent is spacious and well-equipped. Warm enough to get through a rainy windy night without getting stuffy. Bathroom is squeaky clean. Deanne and Trevor are lovely and responsive.

We loved the location. It was quiet but close to the action. The design was comfortable and maximized the beautiful views. The property was clean with small touches throughout that added to the character and the overall experience. Our host, Gregory was responsive, knew the area very well, and consistently checked in to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

We were so happy with the accommodation - beautiful location and lovely cabin. Mary was so welcoming, and we appreciated the lovely touches everything was thought about - we will definitely be back!

Great location, peaceful and pretty. Breakfast was adequate, enjoyed the fresh fruit, milk, bread & bottle of wine - a bonus. Comfy place, nice covered verandah to BBQ. Great for 2 day stay, but longer would need more storage for clothing & bags etc. Bathroom goodies, appreciated; toothbrush/ soaps/ shampoo etc. Coffee plunger , great. Would definitely recommend this lovely venue & location.

Loved everything about Hotel Haumoana, we hope to return! Great owners, beautiful setting, loved the eclectic mix of art, modern and vintage, Denise has a great eye for detail. Modern, super clean, comfy and had everything we needed.
