Bournemouth Airport (BOH) is located just over 4 miles (6 kilometres) from the city centre. It's connected by the Yellow Buses B1 service, which stops at the railway station and other city-centre points from around 06:00 until 19:00. A taxi to the city will cost about GBP 20.

Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities

There's a small selection of hotels with shuttle services located between the airport and the city. However, most options can be found in Bournemouth itself or in neighbouring Christchurch. In the terminal, there’s free WiFi, shopping and restaurants. We only used it as a stop over before an early morning...

We only used it as a stop over before an early morning flight so didn't really venture far to see more of the area However have visited the nearby New Forest plenty of times which is absolutely beautiful.

The owners book you in and that is the last you see of them, its nice if you like the relaxed approach. The tent was lovely and had everything we needed for our short stay. The toilet facilities is another matter. There is 1 toilet and 1 shower for each the male and females. There were some that used the toilet to get ready for the day instead of their accommodation or shower room. This meant the 1 and only toilet could be out of action for over an hr at a time. This is not the place for anyone with a weak bladder.

This was a lovely stop over on our way to our next stop to our holiday for us. Its also suitable for short stays. Lovely area , off street parking & pets are welcome. The Host are welcoming too.

I did not find the site staff very helpful when we had trouble with our door code. The site was very quiet and tidy which was welcome. I would recommend the site overall to other folk who were considering staying there particularly families who don't want late night revellers keeping you awake at night. I think the site would benefit from more signage though, such as how to exit the site. 'this way to exit' would have been useful. Overall a good experience...

We were in the area for a wedding and the bungalow was just perfect for our trip. The grandchildren loved the bunk bed room, the conservatory and the garden. Plane spotting was their favourite! The whole bungalow was beautifully furnished, comfortable, clean and very well equipped. It had everything we needed, and the thoughful additional touches like the food, wine, sweets and toiletries were very much appreciated. Safe off road parking and the quiet area were a bonus. We used the local fish and chip takeaway and Tesco which were a minutes drive or a short walk away. We found an excellent garden centre on the way to Parley Manor. The train station in Bournemouth was also just a 20 minute drive away.

Excellent in every possible way location very near...

Excellent in every possible way location very near Christchurch , a very quality breakfast and choice , very friendly staff all happy to please , very comfortable clean warm and spacious room , room facilities left nothing to be desired . Recommend throughly to anyone seeking a well above average stay . Managed properly where every customer comes first . Easy secure parking adjacent to the rooms . Well done !

It was delightful, a comfortable stay with good food. It's in an excellent position to explore the area, close to the New Forest and Bournemouth beach is short drive away too. Being on the main A31 road it is easy to locate.

location was easy to find ,just of the A35, easy to get to...

location was easy to find ,just of the A35, easy to get to other attractions in the Area, beaches , towns along the Dorset coast and the New Forest; , bonus for this stay is that there is a beach hut available at Southbourne Beach, the property was very clean, warm and tidy , both bedrooms had very comfortable beds; the Kitchen had absolutely everything that anyone would need, the walk in shower was super .plenty of hot water etc, great access to the property at rear, from dedicated parking spot in to garden that had ample seating etc, plus a fully stocked barbecue. Christchurch has plenty of eateries to cater for all tastes, and easy to get to good pub restaurants in the locality, the Amberwood Inn at Hinton was particularly good as was the Toby Carvery. Shopping was easy , many Supermarkets close to the property.

I liked the setting very much. Riverside was lovely.

I liked the setting very much. Riverside was lovely. Bit difficult for me to comment on food etc, as I only stayed one night for rest, as flying from Bournemouth airport early the next morning. Would certainly recommend the hotel for that reason as it was a short drive.

The heating as it was very cold and it would have been awful with out it.You have to use car where ever want to go.The number should be visible at the top of the drive as it was very hard to find each time we went anywhere
