Beautiful building and room, in a country setting. It's as beautiful as the pictures. The lodge was originally a train station and stables. The host was very pleasant and gave us advice on things to see. Great breakfast, highly recommend Black Mountain Lodge.

The staff was exceptional. James was delightful, as was everyone we interacted with. No request was too big, and they always went out of their way to meet any and all request. The restaurant was top of the line! The chef prepared our Hereford steaks perfectly. The beds were comfortable. (Kudos for a working towel warmer) The location was walkable to everything in town. Truly wonderful experience.

Perfect location. lovely host and amenties all provided. Sandwiches were just what was needed after a long hike!

The pub was cheerful and the owners, Andy and Sally, were fabulous. Such a wam and friendly atmosphere.

It has all the modern conveniences and easy access. The hosts were very welcoming, too. It was a quiet location and an easy walk into the town center.

The property was beautifully presented, furnished and decorated to a very high standard. The whole ‘feel’ for the house was all encompassing. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was without a doubt, absolutely delicious and no attention to detail was spared within the entirety of our stay.

Joyce is a lovely lady offering you a drink with cake and biscuits on your arrival. Breakfast is filling, with the cereals, ,yogourt and cooked options. The room was lovely comfortable, spacious with a view over the back garden. There are walks around the area for hikers and you can get to Talgarth and other areas quickly Peaceful country side position.

It was quaint and conveniently located. The room was a good size and there was free parking.

The location is awesome and our experience was exceptional. The local/neighborhood pub, also on the block (1min walk) made the night for us! We arrived late and the host was very accommodating.
