Everything about the Garden House was exceptional. The owner was extremely welcoming, helpful and accommodating. The room was comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast was exceptional. There property was very clean, exceeding most standards.

Claudia is a fantastic hostess. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Nothing was a bother. Claudia made us a packed breakfast so we could attend an early event the next day. Above and beyond and such a charming personality. Lovely roll top bath. The dog was made to feel very welcome too. Highly recommend staying here. Pub opened the night before we arrived and was a good place to eat. Fabulous stay.

Fantastic old features and traditional country pub, the perfect stay.

Libs, the host, was very welcoming and friendly. The accommodation is an old, characterful house in a very quiet village, very tranquil. The room assigned to me was well appointed, had everything I needed (and more) with comfortable twin beds. The (private) bathroom was across the landing but dressing gowns were provided so this wasn't an issue. Libs did offer me an upgraded en-suite room but what I was initially shown was very sufficient for a short two-night stay. Breakfast at a pre-booked time was plentiful and delicious, with quality ingredients. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would definitely return if I was in the area.

Everything about our visit was good to very good, food accommodation and staff. The prices were reasonable Beer at well under £5 per pint and a very friendly atmosphere to drink it in. The food was "Rustic" but reasonable priced and well served. The popularity of the Inn was testament to the quality.

Friendly staff who made us feel, welcome. Good choice on the menu and well presented tasty food. Beautiful & quiet village setting. Enjoyable music in the bar ( suited our taste! ). Room was clean and comfortable and ideal for an overnight stay.

What a beautiful place to stay! A little slice of heaven. I couldn't stop looking out the window and taking in the view. My husband and I had the entire wing to ourselves, which was great! No worries about privacy going from our room to the shower and toilet. In the morning he had a lounge to relax in and get caught up on work. We also appreciated the portable heater in the room. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options to choose from, and one day we hope to return. Just absolutely lovely!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here! The bedroom was very nice, cosy, clean, with good amenities. The owners were very nice, and the breakfast was delicious!
