The location was fantastic. Can walk to Salamanca Market, MONA, and many other places in central Hobart. The place was clean, spacious and comfortable. The team was very helpful with any questions or concerns.

My husband and I were in Sandy Bay to visit my relatives, whom we hadn't seen in much too long. We wanted to be close to them but not impose on them as guests. The villa was the ideal solution. I corresponded through Booking.com with the hosts on several occasions and was well briefed before we flew into Hobart and drove our rental car to the property. There was no problem getting the keys out of the lockbox. We'd already been on the road for almost four weeks so it was wonderful to be able to spread out for a week instead of being confined to only one bedroom. The villa offers 3 bedrooms, one with twin beds which we left untouched and 2 with large queen beds. My husband and I decided to take full advantage, he occupied the downstairs queen bedroom while I had the upstairs one with a huge walk-in closet and en-suite. My husband had the downstairs guest toilet for night use and his own spacious bathroom (both full baths had rain showers) upstairs as well. There is also a big living/dining room and adjoining kitchen space and both a full-sized washer and a full-sized dryer with a utility sink, though the dryer is mounted very high, I could barely reach the dial and I am nearly 1 meter 80 (5' 10") tall. There is a terrace out the back complete with a barbecue grill (charcoal, I think). You can walk to the grocery store (a huge Woolworth's) in less than ten minutes and there is a post office hardly three minutes' walk further, plus a chemist's (drug store), plenty of restaurants and lots of other shops. We had dinner at Don Camillo's (Italian), which I can heartily recommend. The kitchen was stocked with a lot of useful appliances plus an iron and ironing board. It was easy to make breakfast and launch into each day's activities with the family. We so much appreciated getting to spread out and running all our clothes through the laundry before the second half of our long around-the-world trip.

Lovely and well-priced house with nice views from the master bedroom and lounge room. Close walk to go to Hobart markets and the beach. Stylish and comfortable.

The location was very convenient for us - close to the CBD, very close to a bus stop. We loved the fact that the property has amazing views of the Derwent. We were two families and the house worked very well for the seven of us - loads of space and we never felt cramped.

The house is very spacious and clean. There were a lot of self-contained rooms like the lounge, dining, kitchen are all self-contained. The laundry was hidden in the hallway closet, very modern. A full-size bathroom with a full-size bath. The ceilings are nice and high, and there was two air-conditioners to warm the home and one portable heater. It was very close to the city centre but had some views. Being a freestanding house you get your own independence which is lovely and a nice little courtyard at the back and lots of little things like a portable clothesline, microwave, TV with the extra programs like Netflix available on smart tv.
