What Guests Said About Beaminster:

Scored out of 10, guest rating 10

Beaminster is a lovely place to visit.

Beaminster is a lovely place to visit. I was disappointed in the Gardens at mappaton. It was looking overgrown and a bit unloved. The cost of £45 for the 3 of us was a bit much considering the condition of the garden . We last visited the Gardens around 4 years ago and even though it looked tired it did look loved.

Beautiful little town full of friendly and helpful people. Lots of pubs and restaurants and cute little shops. The scenery is beautiful and there are lots of walks. A great place to visit and stay.

A step back in time!

A step back in time! Small historic town, traditional butcher, baker and greengrocer, independent shops. Very friendly helpful locals. I can recommend The New Inn for great evening meals at reasonable prices. Be prepared to travel some very narrow windy lanes in this area though!

Great place, Beaminster is idyllic. Cosy little cottage that the kids absolutely loved. Even a few games and puzzles to entertain us. Close to Jurassic coast for fossil hunting and nice national trust half an hour north.

Nice cottage in a wonderful position. Beaminster is a small village but with restaurants, pubs, and local businesses. The house is really clean and fully equipped with everything you need. Easy parking on the street.
