Beauly is a great base as there are a lot of surrounding areas to explore . The town itself has lots of great eateries including deli on the square a bakery and 3 takeaways, around the area are some beauty spots and stunning walks, farm shops etc

Easy to get to if no car. Hourly bus service from Inverness.
Easy to get to if no car. Hourly bus service from Inverness. Also a less frequent train service. Two local taxi services operate in Beauly area. There are quite a few places to walk (country and riverside walks). Lovely priory to visit. Kilmorack Gallery a few miles outside Beauly also worth a visit. Several eating places and cafes. Recommend The Priory Hotel, The Friary chipper and Corner On The Square gourmet eatery and deli.

Beauly is a lovely village well situated to visit west coast...
Beauly is a lovely village well situated to visit west coast, Loch Ness and other parts of the Highlands.
Good food at reasonable prices at the local Hotels and good quality food available in the Shops. Less than 2 miles from nearest Golf Course and several good walks in the vicinity.

We were just passing through on our way to the very top so...
We were just passing through on our way to the very top so it was a fleeing visit. Stayed in a fantastic b&b just outside of Beauly. Went into the town in the evening for a meal in the local hotel. A lovely wee town and warrants a return visit to see more of the place and use more of the local ameneties.

The superior bedroom was very big with a very comfortable king size bed. The shower room looked newly decorated and was scrupulously clean. The breakfast had a very good selection of food and was tasty.

The Old School Shop has an eclectic selection and lovely friendly staff.
The Shimla Restaurant (Indian) though very tired decor, the service and food were good.
Not a great deal of choice for dine in evening meals in Beauly that we could find, other travellers may know better .....

The flat was very clean, nicely presented and quiet. We have stayed in Beauly for the Highland Cross for the past 3 years, and No.3 is definitely the quietest despite being next to the noisiest bar in town. It is also the best value for money
Val is brilliant. Quick to respond and very helpful.
We will be looking to stay here agsin in future years.

Welcoming host who gave clear information without being overbearing.
Great bathroom/ shower space.
Clean and tidy.Close to Beauly, within walking distance.
Tea/coffee available on arriving. No washing up needed as host sorted this out.
Good free parking on sight.

The lock box and off street parking provided excellent access to the property. Also the town of Beauly was very beautiful and there was an awesome river walk and on the Thursday night we saw the music, highland dancers and the pipe band.

The food was excellent, breakfast and evening meals. Would highly recommend this hotel for food. The scones looked really good, but we did not partake as we were out (mid-day)
