This was my first trip to England and it was thrilling to stay in a hotel that looked like a small castle. The decor was so rustic and beautiful. I also loved all of the smaller cottages on the property and the grounds were just lovely. We really enjoyed spending some time outdoors while we were there.

Beautiful, inside and out. Very welcoming staff, especially Theo, who went out of his way to accommodate our early arrival and later departure. Food in the pub was delicious, and the atmosphere was what we were looking for in a very quaint, beautifully remodeled old pub. The en suite was gorgeous, with comfortable beds and linens. We were only there for one night, but we wish we had planned for longer. Adored the surrounding town of Tetbury.

We were a family of 4, my husband, myself and my in-laws. The rooms are very beautiful, clean and have a unique character. The restaurant and bar are truly beautiful and convenient. Staff is exceptional and very helpful. We asked the owner if we could have breakfast at 8am instead of 9am, she immidiatley accepted and served us home-made breakfast on saturday and sunday. The food both breakfast and dinner were satisfying and good portions. I would recommend this inn because it feels like home.

Crudwell is a small, pretty village. Surrounded by farmland/countryside with some lovely walks. It also has some beautiful historic old buildings, a very nice farm shop, and several hotels/pubs. One of which has an excellent Indian restaurant attached called Sasa’s.

One of my favourite stays! The flat itself is so beautiful, very clean and peaceful. I wish we had more time to just relax and read, but we had commitments. The windows are gorgeous and great for sunny days. Lucienne was very helpful and responsive too! Thank you!

Large bedrooms and comfortable large beds, bath in the rooms, at Pettifers. Food in their restaurant was great. Several areas to sit. Games to play were supplied. However would not recommend for a large group of people as staffing levels in restaurant not high enough. Good sized car park. Village picturesque and near to Cotswolds famous places.

Quiet rural village close to interesting historic places like Shorncote old medieval church, Cirencester Roman site & museum, Lacock Abbey (a 40 min drive) and lovely little pubs. You'd need a car or careful checking of public transport routes, lovely area for cycling around the lakes & lots of little cafes there (daytime & weekends). DIned at the cosy & quaint 'Potting Shed' pub a few steps along the road, it was a good selection of local real ales & just what was needed.

There was at least 2 pubs in walking distance to eat and the potting shed served excellent food. Plenty of field walks to explore. Supermarket was just 10 mins drive with other ones only a little further. Was a perfect base for discovering the Cotswolds.

We had an amazing time staying at Crudwell House during the festive days. Tim and Daniella were exceptional hosts, very kind and helpful. The room was warm and cozy and the overall experience of staying at such a house was magnificent. The location is ideal to explore the Cotswolds by car whilst staying in a place where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of english countryside. Next to the house there is a nice traditional pub with excellent food and atmosphere. Thank you Daniella and Tim and we hope to visit you again!

The hotel was very close to the venue we were at for a dog show. The car park was at the back of the property so our vehicle & dogs were safe. The hotel is dog friendly & welcomes well behaved dogs with open arms. The food was excellent. The staff are very friendly, helpful & welcoming. There is a public footpath opposite the hotel. Ideal for walking the dogs. We met villagers & they were friendly & interested in our dogs. All in all an excellent weekend away. Thank you.
