Amazing location and beautiful views all around! Very friendly and welcoming hosts. We travelled as two couples and everything was just right. An evening by a cosy fire in UK November weather in such a well-thought-out, homely place was perfect. And there was a friendly surprise in the morning when we were greeted by Oscar – a true gentleman of a dog – who came to say “hi” on his way home from his walk! There are places to eat nearby, but we were very happy with the well-stocked kitchen and cooking steaks in the evenings. Small touches such as artisan bread, biscuits, and jam made us feel even more welcome. Since the weather didn’t allow us to climb Snowdon, we’ll definitely be back! 😊

Family business, with super friendly and welcoming host. I arrived too late for a meal (restaurant had shut), but they went out of their way to prepare a plate for me. Thank you

Location was an easy commute to Holyhead for the ferry. Room was comfortable. It was unfortunate that they weren't providing food the night we were there as there was nothing else nearby. The staff were really friendly and helpful and tried their best to help

The studio apartment is stunning, well equipped and very comfortable. It is also thoughtfully provisioned so that you do not have to go to the shops to get things for breakfast as soon as you get there. All essentials such as tea, coffee, milk, juice, bread and butter are provide. Our host Catherine was away for par of the weekend but despite this was very attentive and kept in touch to ensure we were okay. When Catherine wasn't there her husband was welcoming and was able to answer any questions we had and give us a good recommendations for places to eat. If I come back to Anglesey again I would definitely try to stay here again.

What Guests Said About Dwyran:

Scored out of 10, guest rating 2.0

Our stay was unfortunately quite disappointing overall.

Our stay was unfortunately quite disappointing overall. The pod did not feel as clean as expected, with visible mould around the window near the bed. Although the towels had been washed, some had noticeable bleach stains, and the bedding did not feel particularly fresh. The kitchen area also appeared quite dirty, and the rubbish was not emptied during our stay. Facilities for children were limited. There were no suitable games available, and the outdoor chess set was broken. We had chosen this location partly for the outdoor cinema, however it was not set up on arrival and was only made available the following day. The screen was also damaged, which affected the experience. Parking was quite difficult and we were asked several times to move our car, which was inconvenient and interrupted our time, including once when we had just settled into the hot tub. The hot tub itself was enjoyable for the children, although it could have been cleaner. While the location is quiet and close to a beach and local shop, the overall condition of the site feels in need of maintenance and improvement. Given the cost of the stay and additional extras, it did not represent good value for money. With some improvements to cleanliness, organisation, and facilities, this could be a much better experience for future guests.

Perfect for a quiet holiday especially for dogs, the host left blankets, bowls, biscuits for the dogs which made us feel they were welcome. In a prime location to explore Anglesey, being central to everything. The cottage was outstanding in cleanliness, comfort, in fact it had everything you needed to enjoy your stay.

A nice rural location.

A nice rural location. Near the centre of Anglesey so easy to get to anywhere on the island, as not too far from A55. Favourite place to take our dog is Cyryram Bay, but unfortunately there is no longer vehicle access to the dunes, so a bit of a walk to get there. Favourite eatery Sea Shanty in Treaddur Bay. Had a very nice meal at the Panton Arms. Grandson loved watching thr RAF planes.

We were made to feel very welcome and almost part of the family. The location is slightly remote for shops and food outlets are roughly 4 or 5 miles away but this isn't a problem if you have a car.

Our 3rd year and booked for 2023. Everything about this beautiful accomodation and its owners is wonderful. The surrounding area and well furnished accomodation leaves nothing to chance. Cleanliness top notch and nice touches left of fresh bread, butter jam and assorted teas and coffee. This place is idyllic and we love Dennis, Jane and Sian who are most welcoming. Thank you and see you next year
