The room is in a seperate block from the pub (I'm not sure if that's the same for all of the rooms) has its own access door from the car park, and the pub does great food and was full of lovely friendly people.

Really lovely welcoming reception, hotel is dated but you should expect this in a 1970’s hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was as expected, full english with plenty of light options, cereals fruit etc. downside was the restaurant was not open on the 2 evenings we stayed, but plenty of food options close by. Was even allowed to have a food delivery to reception if we wished. car parking on site. Good location with shops and Clark’s village outlet a short walk away.

Ideal place to stay when booked but it does seam that this place has a lot of workmen staying there more than guests on Holiday as they could be heard walking the corridor and slamming doors early in the morning . the place could do with some upgrading in painting and some renovations but still needs to keep the old fashion look and feel of the place . the menu was okay but could have been better more choice and every day meals to suit the type of people staying there it could be a gem of a place . step from the bedrooms to ground floor looked a bit dangerous with part of it missing covered by carpet could have been an issue all in all good place to stay and enjoyed my stay there .

I was particularly impressed with the enthusiasm of all the staff. I was also pleased to see the staff wearing humorous 'T' shirts, it took away the away the "stuffiness" of some hotel restaurants. Was also pleased to see that the food is locally sourced. The food was really good and well presented. I really loved the Lime and Elderflower cheesecake . All in all it was a very enjoyable stay. (albeit only one night) I thank you all. Hope to visit again .

Great staff, clean & comfortable room, nice shower. food in the restaurant was outstanding ! . on a main road but quiet at night. breakfast was continental with a nice selection of quality items. We would recommend & will stay again !
