We, family of three stayed only one night at an absolute bargain price, so I was stunned we got more than decent accomodation, with included classic breakfast. Room looks recently renovated. Very kind and professional staff. Beautiful view.

Set in the beautiful bucolic hills the cottage was very comfortable and spacious with a well equipped kitchen. The host Matt and family were amazing and well informed. Everything is set up with practicality and comfort in mind. I arrived having flown in from the USA and driven from LHR to everything being exactly as described including the fantastic welcome hamper. I was there for a wedding near by but will return to stay on the farm next summer with the extended family. Thank you Matt.

Loved everything about our stay, Stunning Countryside lovely walks and great base for traveling to coast and other local attractions in the area. We had a breakfast every day, Sunday Roast and all our evening meals at the Notley Arms Inn with added option of a lunch menu , food was fantastic

the Notley Arms is in Monksilver, a gorgeous hamlet with old...

the Notley Arms is in Monksilver, a gorgeous hamlet with old church (where Sir Francis Drake married) and in the foothills of the Quantocks for great walks. The hotel/pub is beatifully decorated and full of country character with stone floors, rugs, comfy sofas and a welcoming bar. Food is excellent and rooms are clean and welcoming. various villages and small towns are in easy access as is the harbour town of Watchet, Taunton and Minehead, if wanted

Great place.

Great place. Very welcoming host who went out of his way to accommodate my request. Meals were good & much enjoyed especially breakfast. Room was quiet & comfortable. Just a great retreat!
