We loved our 2 night stay at Yalbury cottage with excellent friendly hosts, a lovely room, a beautiful garden to sit in and a great location. Fresh milk on arrival for a cuppa was available. A peaceful relaxing setting.

There was ample parking in the courtyard of our accommodation at Heathcote House. The room there was attractively furnished with good tea and coffee facilities. The Royal Oak Pub, directly over the road, has won awards for its Sunday Carvery and has excellent meal offers during the rest of the week. Our accommodation did not offer breakfast but we were able to buy croissants and yogurt at the Londis, in Milton Road, a short walk away. Milborne Saint Andrew is a small village on the A354 between Puddletown and Blandford Forum. It was an ideal place to stay for our trip to the Teddy Rocks Festival at the beginning of May and is close to many local attractions such as the Tank Museum and Monkey World. It is close to the A35 with easy links to Bournemouth/Poole and Dorchester.

This location is perfect to see the highlights of Dorset...

This location is perfect to see the highlights of Dorset coast, and country, we walked circulair walks in Abbotsbury,had diner at the local pub, The Royal Oak, very friendly and good food for reasonable price. A visit at Kingston Lacy(Nat.Trust) etc..
