Very enjoyable stay - friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms and great food.

A very surprising place on our itinerary. The facilities in our room were not new, but they were all very clean and everything worked properly. A very warm and pleasant room for the price. Although some things need to be replaced, because they are kept in good condition, it feels like coming home to grandma's house. 😊The most convenient check-in and plenty of parking spaces.😊

A very rural location, plenty of parking and easy access to the Inn, Accessability is excellent with a lift to the accommodation level. The service both in the bar and dining room was esxcellent. The served breakfast instead of a buffet was much appreciated The standard of the food is simply superior, absolute serendipity for such a remote location.

It was very nice and quiet, very clean and tidy, toilets and wash room were easy to get to and were very clean. Great place to stop and get taxi into city centre

Loved the staff. They are the most welcoming ever. It felt like we were staying with old friends! The room was comfortable and clean, the food was good, and the atmosphere was really fun. A lot of imagination went into the making of the inn.!

Simple and easy, totally York style which is perfect for travelers who want to experience North England lifestyle.

The breakfast was terrific, lots of choice & the staff were wonderful. The location was great, an easy walk to the town centre.
