This was an absolute gem of a hotel. It was beautiful comfortable and the staff were so welcoming and hospitable. The location in the Yorkshire Dales is incredibly beautiful and lovely hiking available nearby. The food at the restaurant on site was FANTASTIC.

We loved it! The first room we stayed in was in the annex and was lovely, then on our return we stayed in a lovely room on the 3rd floor. Lots of steps, but worth the climb. The breakfast was amazing and we also enjoyed getting a drink in the pub, and delicious dinner. The portions were so large they were enough for 2. The staff was friendly and helpful,even providing us a take away breakfast when we needed to leave early. Walking distance to the Aysgarth Falls and a quick drive to Castle Bolton and to Hawes to visit the creamery.

Warm and Friendly Staff with a good atmosphere. Breakfast was a Full English, with a Cereal bar, juices and coffee. A generous meal. Our room was clean, recently renovated and comfortable. A nice place to stay, and great value.

Comfy spacious rooms, coffee and tea in the room, shed available for bike storage and wonderful breakfast. Also had a pint of ale and it was quite good. The area is also quite beautiful, lovely countryside spot.

Fabulous place, wonderful scenery.

Fabulous place, wonderful scenery. Lots of interesting places to visit. Castle Bolton and both locations used in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves (see photos below) are within easy travelling distance. There are a wide range of very nice places to eat.

It's a great place to stop, perfect for exploring the Dales.

It's a great place to stop, perfect for exploring the Dales. The pub has a very warm and family friendly feel. The staff are very welcoming and make you feel right at home. The accommodation is very comfortable, well equipped and clean. All in all a great place to stop, unwind and relax.

Good quality food beautifully cooked, comfortable beds, lovely shower and lovely staff A beautiful setting and gorgeous views, in a real typiical Dales village. And on the doorstep of an original castle with loads of real history untampered by politics.

Pubs nearby are still 10/15 mins drive- no where to eat after like 8pm…as pubs don’t serve food after this time. Do not go to the kebab shop in Redmire it took 30 mins wait to make and was awful lol. Nice quiet quaint village perfect to get away from city life but not much to do and not many choices of food. ‘Saffron’ the Indian restaurant I was skeptical about but I was actually amazing food and staff!

Quiet, friendly village.

Quiet, friendly village. Good pub, excellent views and ideally situated for a visit to Castle Bolton and surrounding waterfalls and walking trails. Not too far from Catterick, where there are plenty of shops and facilities, and the local villages nearby have a good selection of pubs and restaurants.

The location, a remote village in the Yorkshire Dales was lovely and what we wanted. The Pub was attractive and the room though small was well fitted out and comfortable and the price very reasonable. The staff were friendly though a bit chaotic. There was a large funeral party in the bar but the Pub produced a well cooked if unadventurous supper for us as overnight guests and the noise from the party was unexpectedly very little. We would go there again and recommend it for anyone who wants a fairly simple country hotel

The pub was in a brilliant location - a peaceful village with easy access to Leyburn, Middleham and Aysgarth Falls and the surrounding area. Spotlessly clean, the Redmire Inn is both a drinking pub and an eating establishment. A choice of six hand-pulled ales says it all plus a great choice of food at very good prices. The staff were very friendly and there was a real buzz about the place. When in the area we would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Staff (especially Holly) were very attentive and would react positively and quickly to every request; food (breakfast & evening meals) and drinks (hot chocolate, coffee, etc.) were exceptionally good (best hotel hot chocolate I’ve ever had (and I’ve stayed in over 100 hotels worldwide); hotel is set in wonderful scenic surroundings; beer garden is warm (heaters available on timers when the sun goes in) and welcoming (lovely layout and structure).

Gorgeous place! Such wonderful staff too and so peaceful. The people of the village of Redmire were so welcoming, we felt so included. The food was also amazing- massive portions and good value for money! And of course, Hawkstone on draft!

Absolutely beautiful hotel in a really lovely village. The service we received was second to none and we can't sing their praises enough! Everything was comfy and cosy and the food was amazing, we'll definitely be back again!
