Breakfast was great. Location was coinvent to shopping and local restaurants. Parking was a little hard. Public car park nearby, but had to get free ticket every hour till 5PM, then free all night. Out the next morning. Small town and able to get our clothes washed in a nearby laundromat.

It is a lovely part of Orkney, very quiet with nice beaches...

It is a lovely part of Orkney, very quiet with nice beaches nearby and near to the north of the island, places such as Birsay which is lovely and has a a little shop with great food. It is not too far from Dounby which has a supermarket for supplies. A real dark sky area for Northern Lights enthusiasts. Evie beach is also nearby which is beautiful and has a small parking area and toilets so is good if you want a swim.
