Located on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, The Fairfax Arms offers 4-star accommodations and a traditional, oak-beamed bar. It has peaceful gardens, and is a 30-minute drive from York. The elegant rooms come with homemade biscuits, freshly ground coffee and fresh fruit. Some retain original wooden beams, and all have a flat-screen TV and iPod docking station.
