On entering the Niblet you find yourself in a cosy, quirky living space with wardrobe and shelving. A 2 seater tartan sofa provides a comfortable area to sit back and watch TV or just look out at the amazing views. There is a kitchen at the rear with oak work surfaces, microwave, a built in Calor gas hob, fridge, stainless steel sink and under counter storage containing all the kitchen essentials. At the side of the kitchen there is access to the shower room and a toilet. There is a lightweight ladder stored against the built in wardrobe, which can be easily moved and positioned to provide access to the bedroom above, as well as the additional storage above the front door. The Niblet is fully double glazed with a velux window providing a view of the famous North Yorkshire Moors stars direct from the bed.

If you are keen on hiking and mountain biking Bransdale moor is a large expanse of open heather moorland designated a SSSI (special site of scientific interest). With lots of rare and beautiful birds and animals found only in this unique habitat to spot. These include lapwings, oyster catchers, golden plovers, peregrine falcon, hen harriers, curlew to name but a few. The cabins isolated location means it is also the perfect place to slow the pace of life and relax taking in the beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The idyllic market town of Helmsley (6 miles) has lots of shops, eateries, delis and takeaways. Theres even a brewery for those who would like to try the local tipple. Kirkbymoorside (9 miles), Pickering (16 miles) are all within close proximity and are both popular tourist destinations including the famous North Yorkshire Moors Railway (Pickering). Lilypad cottage is the perfect base to explore these beautiful destinations which are full of historic and cultural attractions. The popular Yorkshire coastal towns of Whitby and Scarborough are only approximately 40mins drive if you prefer a day at the beach.
